Aston Villa thumped Liverpool 4-2 at Villa Park last night to secure Champions League football next season. An incredible achievement, considering they’ve also reached the Europa League final, their poor start to the season, and having the smallest net spend of any club in the so-called Top 6. Unai Emery deserves a statue outside Villa Park. I’m looking forward to next season already!
