Bungie announced last Thursday that the update to Destiny 2 coming on June 9th will be its last. This is incredibly sad news, but I think the writing has been on the wall for some time now. If I’m honest, I think Destiny 2 should have ended with The Final Shape, with Destiny 3 replacing it. It will be emotional for sure - the game has been a huge part of my life for over a decade - but I’ll definitely be logging in on June 9th to give it the send-off it deserves.
